So, after successful surgery on both knees, I am looking at the rest of my body and trying to figure out what to do. I decided the next thing I would look at is my wrists, because they cause me the most pain right now. So, during my last follow up with my knee surgeon I had him x-ray my wrists as well.

He quickly noted that my wrists do not look normal. The biggest difference he pointed out is the gap in both wrists:

Since my knee surgeon is not a wrist person, he referred me to a colleague in his same office, where I had an appointment this morning. After a lot of prodding, and several additional x-rays, he is at a loss. There are several abnormalities, of course there are, this is me.. but nothing in particular that would indicate the cause of my pain. Where to go from here? Lab work, they are testing to see if I have early onset Rheumatoid Arthritis; MRI is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon to give us a better image of what’s going on. For the MRI they will do only the left wrist, since it is currently the most painful. Guess we’ll see what happens…

We closed on our house July 7th, and were able to get it (mostly) cleaned on the 9th. We had a lot of help from some wonderful family, and were even able to get all of the wallpaper down! Now we are in the process of painting, 2.5 rooms done so far, and moving all our stuff down. Today was a wonderful eventful day, all of our new appliances have arrived!

We are super excited about everything going on here. More pictures coming as things get into place!

Yup, that’s right. We are in the process of purchasing a home! Right now we are just waiting on the appraisal, which is scheduled for Monday. It has been a stressful, and fast, couple of weeks. Considering we just saw the house for the first time less than 3 weeks ago, things are moving really quick. It is a short sale, and the bank wants to close before the 7th of July (First time we’ve ever heard of a short sale actually being, well, short). At this point there is only one small hiccough in the schedule.. I go in for knee surgery on July 1st. This leaves us little time to pack before hand, and means I will be fairly useless when it comes to actually moving anything.. bah! I am going to need some assistance removing some wallpaper (yuck!) and getting some paint up, so if you’re interested, please let me know!

It has been just over a week now since my other baby sister got married. She had a beautifully simple reception here, and I hope things go well for them tomorrow for their reception in Minnesota. I was fortunate enough to be asked to photograph events here, and soon I shall have a link available for those who want pictures.
